I think that its fine to share joke painties around on the forums or tumblr or whatever but its a bit extra to actually make them (and takes spotlight away from legitimate characters). Shifties have special properties that allow Painties to have more flexibility and not conform to standard bases. The Shifty is a shapeshifter, able to mimic the appearance of anything it sees. An Alchemist can craft a Shifty Morphing Potion using ingredients from all villages. Previous species needed morphing potions to swap between forms, but Shifties were able to change their forms on-command, without needing to carry around any extra items. The Shifty is one of the brewable species in Furvilla. like, im not gonna pretend that stickey is Super Serious and my Fursona (tho hes probably gonna be my mascot) but he is a genuine character, and I did put thought and effort into his design/paintie, insofar as much as you can for a stick gremlin. As previously mentioned, the Shifty was the final ‘species’ to be made, towards the end of human occupation on Furvilla.
